1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Zeegah, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, you agree to comply with these terms, and you acknowledge that Zeegah is an Islamic marriage facilitation platform governed by Islamic principles.
2. Platform Purpose
Zeegah is designed exclusively for the purpose of facilitating halal marriage between Muslims. The platform provides identity verification, community trust systems, and safe communication channels to help users find suitable marriage partners in accordance with Islamic values.
3. User Accounts & Verification
Users must provide accurate and truthful information during registration. All profiles are subject to multi-tier verification including phone verification, document verification, and institution verification. Providing false information may result in immediate account termination.
4. User Conduct
Users must interact respectfully and in accordance with Islamic etiquette. Harassment, fraud, impersonation, or any form of inappropriate behavior is strictly prohibited. All conversations should be purposeful and marriage-oriented. Users must not share obscene, offensive, or un-Islamic content.
5. Privacy & Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information is collected only for verification and matchmaking purposes. Your data is encrypted and stored securely. 6. Guardian Involvement
Zeegah encourages and facilitates the involvement of guardians (Wali) in the marriage process, in accordance with Islamic tradition. Guardian consent features are available and recommended for all users.
7. Institution Verification
Verified institutions (mosques, Islamic centers, civil registries) may endorse users on the platform. Institutions must undergo their own verification process and maintain good standing to continue endorsing members.
8. Content Ownership
Users retain ownership of their profile content. By uploading content to Zeegah, you grant us a limited license to display it within the platform for matchmaking purposes. You may delete your content at any time by removing it from your profile or deleting your account.
9. Account Suspension & Termination
Zeegah reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or behave in ways inconsistent with the platform's Islamic values. Users may also deactivate their own accounts at any time.
10. Limitation of Liability
Zeegah serves as a facilitation platform and does not guarantee marriage outcomes. We are not responsible for the actions of individual users. While we employ extensive verification measures, users should exercise their own due diligence when interacting with potential partners.
11. Modifications to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
